We met on June 17, 2017, in Dubai.

Alice was in the middle of an internship she wasn’t enjoying, and Peter was completing one in Abu Dhabi. One evening, by the pool, Alice was sharing to her sister Lucille about her less-than-thrilling days. Lucille smiled and reminded her that life has a funny way of surprising us - that she might even meet someone. If only she had known…

The years that followed took us across cities and time zones: London, Montreal, Hong Kong, Lisbon, Paris, and New York. Long distance, reunions, goodbyes (with a few tears from Alice), and happy returns taught us that home is something we build together, wherever in the world it may be.

Almost nine years to the day after we first met, we’re getting married. Our wedding will celebrate everything that has shaped us: a little bit of everywhere we’ve been, and all the friends, family, and love that have brought us here.
